ELI Language Games - Time For Dominoes
Time Dominoes is an A1-A2 level educational game in English that presents, in a playful and engaging way, a fundamental topic when learning a foreign language: the hours of the day.
LANGUAGE OBJECTIVES The game is structured in such a way as to allow you to work on different levels of difficulty and allows students to learn and memorize the times of the day and practice the correct linguistic structure for asking and communicating the time.
CONTENTS The game is made up of 48 tiles divided into two parts: on the left we will find a clock face and on the right a written time. Correctly matching each image with the corresponding text allows you to complete the domino path.
DISTANCE LEARNING The tiles with the dials representing different times make it possible to use this game in an alternative way, for example by showing the images and asking them to indicate the time represented and then inserting this indication into a short dialogue . For this reason it is a material that can be perfectly used even during lessons or online courses.
